Gotta say, I feel pretty fortunate to be tied in the division for first. We haven't played well at all on defense, but here we are. Tampa has the Bears next and the Clowns have the Bengals. Either or both could lose. We need to handle our business against NY this Sunday.

Good to see Fitz coming back down to earth. He got extremely luck chunking bombs. I hope they stick with him because no way that is going to continue. He's a bad QB. I find it interesting though how everyone forgets that fact. Like his whole history just went away after 2 hail mary games. Like it never happened. It did happen and he sucks. He has always sucked.

If you call throwing for over 400 yards for the 4th straight game ... a new NFL record, coming back down to earth. He has been streaky his whole career. Yes, he has sucked at times. Other times he has monster games. He had a stretch of five games back in 2015 with the Jets where he averaged right at 300 yards per game with 13 TD's and only one pick. He's also always been on crappy rosters. Tampa Bay has more offensive talent than any team he has ever led. The Bucs almost pulled off the comeback.

He threw 400 yds but he also threw 3 picks. The game was actually out of hand early. Steelers D and the Saints D are the worst. He could have not hoped for a better situation. Winston will be back in a few weeks.

Pittsburgh have 6 takeaways thus far. Saints 1. Steelers know how to apply pressure & create turnovers. Saints do not.

Key word last night was pressure on the QB & takeaways.

Oh yeah, I'm glad the Bucs lost.

That's on Dennis Allen to correct. No one can tell me that David O, Rankins, Demario D, Klein etc are bad players.

This. Don’t know if it’s Allen or if Payton is fiddling with things because he has a vision of how he wants his defense to look when we don’t have the players to look that way. Is he letting them play to their strenths or is he asking them to do things that they really don’t need to be doing in order to succeed.
Have they changed things from last year?
I don’t know much about the intricacies of the game but I do know in the past they have had to rely more on scheming and tricking the defense because we didn’t have a whole lot of talent. We do have talent now but it seems like they are still shuffling players around a lot and ****. Is it really necessary or is it counterproductive?

Fitz won’t play well all season... he always starts hot on new teams, did this with the Bills and Jets before playing like garbage.

Also, fitz got beat up this last game. I don’t think he can take that punishment for a season the guy looks much older than he is. Something tells me that by week 7 the Bucs will be considering Winston again.

Blitz more, play cover 2 with the safeties to help with our lack of a CB, and FFS please never just rush 3... that’s got to stop.

What's the difference we have struggled since Allen came here. It's not that had to figure out. We do have to make some moves personnel wise and one of them should be Allen

Fitzy is a decent journeyman QB he managed to torch us, or better put we torched ourselves. The one thing that I noticed is the Bucs fans have totally embraced him. Not sure the Tampa faithful have trust in Winston after the finger licking good saga.

Just to be technical is isn't a tie. In the 3-way "tie" with Saints, Bucs, and Kitties, the Kitties lose out at the division record level (0-1 compared to Bucs 1-0 and Saints 1-1). Saints are behind Bucs due to head to head in two way "tie". So standings are Bucs, Saints, Kitties, FailClowns at the moment.

Not that it matters at the moment. I'm just glad we have an opportunity for a winning first quarter of the season. We haven't seen that in literally 5 years.

You guys do realize we’ve had a better start this season than we have in the past 5, that’s FIVE seasons right? Including last year. At this point in the season last year we thought we sucked too.
