Justin Hardee ... come on down

I guess it's his time to shine now, in light of the Robinson injury. |
Re: Justin Hardee ... come on down
I doubt it would help if they cloned Lattimore to play both sides. I’m getting the feeling it has less to do with the players.

Re: Justin Hardee ... come on down
Does everyone here think our CB's all of a sudden forgot how to do what they did last year? Really? I am no D coordinator, but even I can see we are trying to be too cute and hiding this and shifting that. Last year with a new group they lined up and said, here's what we're doing. Try and beat us.
This year is....hey look at this, we look totally out of position. I am a great D coordinator so I am going to hide coverages and our talent is so good that they will recover and learn my awesome new system. I don't want to stay a D coordinator so if I show how forward thinking I am people will take notice. Well guess what, they have and no one will want you for sheeeiiitttt. Put the D backfield back to doing what they were doing last year and only sprinkle in some of this new stuff. |
Re: Justin Hardee ... come on down
Hardee isn't a slot corner guy.

With Williams and Crawley both playing poorly we appear to be screwed. |

Don't laugh but I'd insert PJ in the slot or the "new guy" Amerson. He's a major liability on those boundaries. It's up to coach Allen to study tendencies, analyze & scheme up to players strengths. This is why Coordinators get paid millions. We shall see what happens on Sunday. |

Hardee maybe our only hope

Problem is - three bad plays in today's game, and the Saints can add another rookie's coming-out-party to its infamous list and an NFL rookie of the week... Nonetheless, if they made your roster, you gotta play 'em; Hardee is never gonna get the experience Payton prefers hence an impasse of for the coach's preference... Crawley or P.J. will just have to slide into the nickel back slot coverage or go heavy nickel and let one of the Buckeye safeties earn their check there... |
Re: Justin Hardee ... come on down
I don't see how he could do any worse. :) Yes, I just jinxed him out of the league.

Re: Justin Hardee ... come on down
its hardee time. Last year it took some major burning before they gave Crawley the opportunity. Experience don't come from the bench.

Re: Justin Hardee ... come on down
If we can pull a win here and there with what we have till we all thru in the towel are start getting better like last seasons we can get over the hump

Re: Justin Hardee ... come on down
confidence, or lack of, either makes or breaks a CB at any level. Saints need a CB that can play with confidence. I believe the talent is there, but the confidence isn't. And whether that's the fault of a complicated scheme or whatever reason, the Saints must have CB's that play with the attitude that if you throw to the guy I'm covering I'm going to make you pay. Is that Hardee? Idk, it's worth a try. Because what I've seen so far looks like confusion & lack of confidence.

Re: Justin Hardee ... come on down
Not sure if Crawley has lost his confidence yet... but he may soon. PJ is done for, might as well cut the guy now. The shame is our DC has no ****ing clue about what he’s doing right now, he should have let lattimore take Jones then shade coverage to PJ...
You guys remember our LBs didn’t even know what positions they were playing 2 weeks into the season... lol seriously Allen is an idiot, with so much talent to blow on this team... we’d be a top 5 defense with GW calling plays. |
