Thoughts after NY game
We can all moan and groan all we want about our D, but they came through today when we needed them to. Our O had a off day, with the exception of Camaro. Give NY props, they had a good defensive plan for us, but we have so many weapons on offense, you take one out, another weapon steps up.
I think we were worried more about containing Barkley in the first half than the second. I started out disappointed that we were still not getting any pressure but for the first time this year, we made adjustments at half. Our back end played better, Crawley is still a penalty magnet and still making mistakes. He just always seems to be behind a step, hopefully he can come around a bit this year. I heard PJ's name mentioned a few times and for once, it wasn't for getting burnt. I was also pleased to see Davis doing some work. I hope this is a sign we are starting to gel on D, if we show like this next week, it's game on. Finally, I am so looking forward to angry Ingram to give our O some more balance, even though today, Camaro handled the duties just fine. :bng: What thoughts do you guys have? *Edit: How the hell I forget Hill. The dude is awesome, is there anything else to say about him lol. |
