Demario Davis named NFC defensive player of the week
 

The veteran inside linebacker was named NFC defensive player of the week, after he filled up a stat sheet in last week’s win over the Giants.

Davis had 11 tackles, two sacks, two tackles for loss, and two other quarterback hits.

Leave Davis in at Mike, put Robertson in at weakside and leave Klein at SAM. That is a great LBing corps.

I like this lineup.

Anzalone just looks lost a lot of times to me. My hope is that Nolan continues to "coach him up". The tools are there though.

Demaro is # 6 in total tackles at the LB position thus far.

If anyone gets a chance, watch the rookie LB for the Colts Darius Leonard (he's #1 on the list right now w/4 sacks) tonight. I had him on my pre draft list & thought he would be a solid contributor.

I have noticed this to. Sucks that he got injured, I think it set him back really far. He was playing good before the injury and now he looks timid and confused. I too hope Nolan can get him straight, the guy has talent.

CharityMike, I feel the same. Maybe his issues are mental (past shoulder injuries & surgeries) with him.
