Our safeties are not impressive at all. We just don't have the help over-the-top that we did last year. I blame Dennis Allen for being too creative and confusing his players.

Last two games Dennis has made better adjustments with pass coverage though. Having two very good DE's will make up for a struggling secondary.

It's not that we don't have talent, it's scheme.

Definitely scheme if you ask me - but I'm no expert. I just can't believe we don't have the talent.

The talent is there. They proved that the last part of last season. Additional talent is now in place. It was definitely scheme ... and perhaps some chemistry. Inserting Coleman into the mix in place of Vacarro had to have had an effect. And the jostling at the LB position.

Our safeties are not helping limit those over the top plays as they should be and were last season...

Folks are moaning about Coleman's play, but both he and Bell still looked lost and seemed to be missing assignments regularly

Safety play has basically been absent on the back end.

You watch replays and there’s basically no safety even in the frame

Baltimore is a huge test.

We've seen dynamic offensive performances at home in prime time before only to be followed up by a dud on the road. That's happened far too often for my liking during the Payton era.

Baltimore has a solid defense and our offensive line will need to carry over what we did vs Washington.

I like how we’re establishing tendencies right now with Taysom Hill so that we can change it up later in the season and catch teams off-guard. Right now, defenses know Hill is going to keep it on the read-option. As the season goes on and teams think they know what’s coming when Hill is in the game... That’s when we call a play-action pass. The defense will come up to stop Taysom Hill the runner and someone will slip behind the defense for the deep ball.

There it is right there. As our late Brother, Hagan was oft to say square pegs, round holes...

The criticism of Kurt Coleman is not accurately warranted because his best years were as a cover-2 safety, and Dennis Allen is scheming him in an alien way...

Mr. Marcus is late on so many plays this year so I'm not buying he forgot how to be a great safety in one season - it's the scheme, it's on Allen & Payton...

Though, in the end, it's a week-to-week league of matchups, was encouraged that the Redskins physically whooped the Panthers...
