Going deep takes time. Smith didn't have time.
The thing the helped the most was the D-line really stepped up. Constant pressure on Smith resulted in two turnovers and numerous really bad throws. The very best part was that the D-line was able to pressure Smith while totally shutting down the Washington run game. |
