The last few weeks, I've seen a lot of teams getting shredded defensively. Rams, Vikes, Chiefs, Philly, Tampa & Jags (wth was that yesterday?).

Bro, ikr..the Girls have been looking like junk on offense and all of a sudden, they go nuts on a Jags D that is one of the best. Twilight zone for sure.

I noticed the same thing a week ago, except at the time it looked like the Falcons would have the distinction of taking that record away from us.

Scoring is at an all-time high across the entire league. It keeps climbing every year and can be directly tied to the ever changing rules.

Offenses have so much more rules advantages now. The new rules make it harder for the defense to play real defense. There was that play Monday night when one of the Chiefs D Lineman let go of Brady because he didn't want to draw a penalty, thinking that Brady had thrown the ball (when in fact he hadn't),

Yep. Breeland Speaks with the sack ... I mean "whiff"

. Same thing happened a week ago in the Buffalo/Titans game on defender Jerry Hughes letting go of Mariota. Speaks volumes as to where the "new league & rules" is headed.

Side note - the GB/49ers game had one punt. That's ridiculous.
