Yeah. I'm betting the NFL flexes the game to nightime.

I wish Marcus Williams had gotten the INT. But great win. It takes the sting away from last year. Thankfully no more Minnesota Miracle crap. Now on to the Rams. That is going to be tough. Thankfully, it's in the Dome.

Yeah PJ was picked on a lot. He had that pick 6 and it was a game changer. But man, he had a rough night. Yikes.

Good ugly win. Try to get pretty against a good defense on the road and it can go bad. Keeping it close to the vest and boring is perfectly fine with me. Our OL and FB/TE played excellent tonight.

Somebody tell Mike triplette we didn't lose like he told us we were supposed to, and we're not sorry for it.

Gurley Championship Series. We made it!

Re: Saints vs Vikings Game Day Thread

We beat them. No lucky. Beat them. The 8 minute drive for the FG to go up by 17 was beating them

We are undefeated on the road so far that is the markings of a good team. Will come in handy come playoffs

I think the Defense played with a chip on their shoulders.

Next week - Gurley vs the best run D in the NFL.

Re: Saints vs Vikings Game Day Thread

Two questions...

1. Can anyone tell me wtf was going on when all 3 QBs were on the field? Because I really don't see the point in all that.

2. When was the last time you saw such a boring game from Drew? Lol.

I'm glad we got the win. Those 2 things were just kinda funny to me.

If all goes well, the only game outside of the Dome will be the SB.

Yes 3QB's is a a fluke fact. Thinking he just wanted something in sports trivia games for all time. I will say though where do you put your defenders. Brees was wide open on that play.

Great win tonight, kinda like the way these games keep getting tougher as the season progress...

Good Prep for Bigger Things!!!

jnormand 10-28-2018 10:58 PM

Re: Saints vs Vikings Game Day Thread

Idk Beast. It just seemed counterproductive. Like, if you want Hill in, take Brees out. What is Brees gonna do? Catch a pass? Block? The answer is no to both.

And then you bring in Bridgewater....and line him up as a reciever. Is he gonna run a route? Catch a pass? Block? Nope.

To me it would be more productive to pull Drew out and get a reciever in there. At least the receiver is more of a threat to catch a pass or maybe even block.

I just don't get the whole thing. But, whatever. We won, that's all that matters.

Re: Saints vs Vikings Game Day Thread

Couple of things I learned to ight:
1. Our dline took over that game
2. Best play of the night most people won't remember, Eli Apple tripping the receiver at the 6 yard line after being onocked down by (I think) Coleman. What a heads up play that made it take 1-2 minutes longer for them to score
3. If we can get nickel help we can win the SB
4. And this is the most important, that stupid skol ****ting clap is so ****ing gay and any man doing that should be utterly ashamed of themselves

I think you have the skol clap confused with the YMCA dance :).

Seriously, to me it just seems weird because the Vikings have a ton of dedicated longtime fans up here in the Midwest. I've been to a game in the Metrodome in the 90's and the team had excellent support and didn't need any gimmicks. I don't understand what changed.

This is true. He knew he was beat and said screw it. Smart play. It also led to one of the worst QB sneaks I have ever seen.
