That thread is brutal. Falcon fans are bigger crybabies than Vikings fans.

My favorite post though: Dude has always been good. Always liked watching him, he's like mattie ice lite.

So Cousins being similar to Ryan is a good thing?

These generally aren't the Falcons fans we knew and loved to be rivals with not so long ago. Atlanta has been overrun by young corporate types who move to Atlanta for a decent job. Some stay, some keep moving. Most try to adopt the Falcons, some have never rooted for a team, some root for several NFL teams, and many don't know much about the game of football. Their fan base has become very diluted, but occasionally I run into an old school Falcon fan. So many gave up on the team over the years.

I moved to Cincinnati 26 years ago. When I arrived, the Bungles were on par with some of the worst of the Saint’s football. Bad team. Bad coaching. Bad owner. That made it really easy not to become a fan, but it didn’t matter.

There was no way I could ever support a team that didn’t wear Black & Gold.
