He had a real good first outing...

I love most things Mississippi as I was born and raised there, but let's not get hasty. It was against the NFL's biggest dumpster fire of a team. It was still impressive though.

Time will tell; Ryan Fitzpatrick was the new Tom Brady week 1 and 2.

His tape looked good and I loved his interview after the game. He looks like a smart kid and he held himself like a starting QB. I hope does well.

I didn't realize our "own backyard" was a pipeline

Cue the Dennis Green quote. Let's now crown him yet. "If you want to crown him, then crown him." LOL. But Gruden was embarrassing out there. I think Drew would have easily hung a 50-burger on them, even with Payton dialing it back in the 4th quarter.

I'm still piss*d off we let Akiem Hicks out of the house; don't even get me started on Natrell Jamerson...

It's a good thing that no one on here is prone to snap judgements based off of watching some highlights of someone who will be forgotten in a month.

He would be of no use to the Saints right now, probably wouldn't have made the team out of training camp.

Mullens looked good against a really bad Chucky Team. Wonder if Gruden is second guessing leaving the Booth.

Now Khalil Mack is a rare talent, but he wasn't being the leader and player he was capable until Gruden traded him; that lit a fire under his @ss and he's not playing this way untraded... |

I'VE NEVER GOTTEN OVER RON WIDBY, THE ORIGINAL TWO WAY PLAYER. DRAFTED BY BOTH THE SAINTS AND NEW ORLEANS BUCCANEERS OF THE ABA!!! GETTING AWAY TO THE COWNBOYS!!!! COST NUMEROUS CHAMPIONSHIPS!!! DON'T EVEN GET ME STARTED ON LES KELLY!!!!!!

Mullens, like Favre, has that "it" factor. And so does a lot a players that come from this region. They don't always fit the profile of the stereo-typical athlete for their position, but if given a good supporting cast they'll be hard to beat because they don't quit, their highly competitive, and they'll find a way to beat you even if they have to improvise.
That's why I compare The DRAFT to digging boogers out of my nose. Sometimes you get a good one, but it's rare. Also, the fact that Mullens shattered ALL of Brett Favre's stats at Southern Miss should've been a clue. |
