The Rams are a young team who is still learning to win. I think they had been reading a lot of their own press clippings and media hype and got punched in the mouth when they walked in our door. They showed some moxie working their way back into that game. Our experience at all levels, most importantly coaching and QB is what created our separation and the win.

They remind me of the Saints in 2007. You could see it coming together and the lessons they learn this year will benefit them in the next few years as a team. An immense amount of talent being refined. The best thing that could happen to the Rams was the loss to us.

And I am totally fine with the general opinion of the Saints being underestimated. We play better with a chip on our shoulder.

Experts said The Prince of Wales battleship couldn’t be sunk by aircraft, so why wait for backup. Japanese sank it.

Experts just knew Singapore could only be invaded by sea. Land was impenetrable jungle. So they fortified only towards the beaches.

Japanese invaded from the forest, the guns couldn’t be turned around — experts wrong again.

German experts knew the Bismarck was an unbeatable warship, until Britain’s tiny swarm of biplanes flew too low and too slow for the Bismarck’s advanced guns to hit.

You no there were 2 series that Payton would take back in that game that would have possibly added no less than 10 to 14 more points to drum there ass so much worse that it looked on 2 consecutive series with a 21 point lead Payton runs on 1st and 2nd downs leaving long third down try’s and had to punt if he puts it to MT on those second downs people it would have been ugly rams better stop talking it may be worst if there’s a second time

Maybe not.
They exited the playoffs early last year.
Could happen again.
I'm not sold on them making the NFC Championship Game being an inevitably.
