Next time Kirkwood runs that play Drew will have a better idea where he'll be on the field and Kirkwood won't have to slow down to catch the ball. Kirkwood catching that at full speed would've been a TD.

Brees is a master of manipulation. Once the safety bit , it was over. Huge completion & 1st down. That catch was confidence building for the rookie.
