Eagles average scoring 22 ppg, but only let up 20ppg
Looking deeper at those numbers for their PPG allowed: They have played Jags and Titans, both average less than 20ppg. Giants avg less than 20ppg and Cowboys average 20ppg Vikings avg 24ppg and put up 23 Falcons, Bucs and Panties avg 26ppg. The bucs scored 27, and only the Falcons, first game of the year, and the Panties were held under their average Point, I am not sure that their 20ppg average on defense demonstrates an overwhelming defense. I think it demonstrates playing primarily less than average offenses. The three games this year where they actually held teams under their average, Colts, Falcons, and Panties were games played at home. I expect the Eagles to come out with a ton of emotion. If we can get up early that emotion will slowly die a slow death. Do not let them hang around. Give them no hope. If we come out with equal emotion we will win. If we come out slow, sluggish or without the same desperation the Eagles are going to have...we could lose this game. |
Your team stinks
