The rest of the regular season
The Saints last 6 games are:
Home against the failclowns @ Dallas @ Bucs @ Panthers Home against Steelers Home against Panthers The only 2 games that worry me is the road game against Carolina (outside in mid-December) & the Steeler game. |
Re: The rest of the regular season
Rams have more.chances to lose than the Saints do.

Re: The rest of the regular season
Falcons will bring their A game. They always do against us. I still think Saints will win, but it may be close.
We should kill Dallas, but it could be one of those trap games. I think we'll crush the Bucs this time. Panthers games are going to be tough and crucial, since they are closest to us in the division. If we take 1 of the 2 we'll be ok. Steelers are always tough, but at least its in the dome. I think we win by 3. |
Re: The rest of the regular season
Steelers and both Panthers games will be tough games. I'm slightly worried about this falcons game. We always play close games and it's our first Thursday game of the season. I wouldnt be shocked if we start a lil slow due to the quick turn around. Either way I still see us winning.

Re: The rest of the regular season
Atlanta - our roster and coaching is too much for them. We'd have to turn the ball over multiple times to lose.
Carolina - Norv Turner's offense won't be enough to keep up. And I can't wait to hear Cam Jordan troll Cam Newton for three weeks.. Bucs - payback's a mutha Dallas - see Atlanta Pittsburgh - I see a shootout here. It's a coin flip IMO |
Re: The rest of the regular season
I'm glad we're playing the Steelers at Home. Carolina on the road could be tough

Re: The rest of the regular season
No team worries me. Not the lambs, nor the panties, nor the Steelers, chiefs, Patriots or bears...and sure as hell not the clowns. This team imposes its will on the opponent, not the other way around. Those teams are worried about us, as they should be.

Re: The rest of the regular season
I don't see a team in the entire league that can beat the Saints the way they're playing right now. I believe the only team that can beat the Saints is the Saints.
I thought Guido was nuts with his "18-1" thread early in the season, but if the Saints play the next 6 games like they've played the last 4 then Guido's prediction is not only possible, it's damn likely. |
Re: The rest of the regular season
I hate to give the Falcons any respect cause they deserve none, but this week actually scares me more than any other week left on the schedule except for the Steelers. The Falcons usually play us well cause it is a rivalry and we are playing them on a short week. If it was a normal week I wouldn't be worried at all, but missing the few days of prep can throw some uncertainty into the equation.

Re: The rest of the regular season
Lambs escaped tonight with a win. MVP wannabe Mahones committed too many turnovers. Bears will give some trouble to the Lambs.

Silver lining in this Thursday game is that at least it’s a division team we are familiar with and successfully game planned for |
Re: The rest of the regular season
If we lose 3 games we still hold the tie breaker of everyone over 5-5 except the Panthers until we beat them of course along with the Succaneers!
|
Re: The rest of the regular season
Can't predict anything because you don't know what happens between now and then.
If we stay healthy we could win as many as all of them, and if you forced me to choose then I'd say at worst we lose 2. |
Re: The rest of the regular season
Rams might lose 1 game...they're frigan division is awful. They may lose at the Bears. I don't see them losing any other game
|
Re: The rest of the regular season
No frozen midwest states on the schedule..I like our odds to win out.
The Saints last 6 games are: Home against the failclowns - Dome Game @ Dallas - Dome Game @ Bucs - Stadium South @ Panthers - Stadium South Home against Steelers - Dome Game Home against Panthers - Dome Game |

Re: The rest of the regular season
A lot of folks underestimating the cowboys. We forget the 09 season already. This is shaping up to be some deja vu. I guarantee we are gonna hear the commentary like we did 09 that it’s not about how good we were all season long and how bad the cowboys were but it’s about who is hot going into the playoffs. Everyone will be all over the Cowboys jock.

More importantly, this defense (since bringing in Eli Apple) has turned a corner. Tied for 1 - INT's. Tied for 5 - scoring defense (19 ppg) 16th in total defense (huge improvement over the last 4 weeks). 3rd in takeaways (8). |
Re: The rest of the regular season
The last two or so times we've played the Steelers at home, the Dome has been over run with Steelers fans with the towels. That team's fan base travels very well. It might be because the towel waving makes them more visible and noticeable, but I feel like the Steelers the last few times they've played in the Dome, were probably the biggest number of opposing fans I've ever seen actually in the Dome at a game. Being that this year's game is so close to Christmas, it worries me that a lot of Steelers fans up north might say, "hey, road trip, let's do Christmas in New Orleans and party on Bourbon street!" and a lot of regular ordinary local Saints fans with family, church and social obligations may not be able to make the game, and will opt to sell their tickets. Christmas is actually a big tourism weekend in this town, and if you have a big family with a lot of family stuff to do, I can see how it can be hard to make time for a game, right before Christmas like that. I could kind of see it happening, it might be tough for some people to make it.
I hope the Dome is loud and raucous for the Steelers game. I remember the famous Saints Halloween night game in the Dome in 2010 was seriously almost 50/50 split between each fan base, it was almost like a bowl game with an even number of fans for each team. Because it turned out, a lot of people with little kids had to do trick or treating with their kids that night. I do remember an amazing goal line stand from the Saints defense that night. |

I respectfully disagree, sir. I seem to remember a team losing their last 3 regular season games and going on to win the Super Bowl. |

I respectfully disagree, sir. I seem to remember a team losing their last 3 regular season games and going on to win the Super Bowl. Which had never happened before. Don't forget the defeats at the hands of the previous years Super Bowl winners! The Saints were the first Super Bowl winning team to win 10 games the following season!
