Someone sent me a text just now.

In 2009, the Saints lost to the Cowboys, Bucs, and Panthers. We won the Superbowl.

In 2018, so far we've lost to the Cowboys and Bucs.

Bushrod got exposed last night. Say what you want about Terron Armstead but we'll need him in the playoffs.

I don't really feel like that. I'm not saying we don't need Terron Armstead, but Bushrod wasn't really the problem. Inside pressure was the problem. Warford and Unger had really bad games. I'm hearing from all the media today that Payton called a bad game, and tbh I agree. Dallas has great linebacker player, and really we approached the Dallas defense like we do most defenses we face... which was a huge mistake. Most teams can't stop Brees, Kamara, and Thomas from picking them apart at the linebacker level, but Dallas could. We needed to get Ingram going. Ingram is the key to beating teams like that. You get yards with Ingram and set up the play action for the big play. I'm sure in hindsight, Payton realizes that he didn't call a good game. If we played them again, I feel confident that we'd win. I just hope losing HFA doesn't hurt us too badly.

To the tune of J.Mora's Playoffs? regular? Regular?? REGULAR?!?!?

Worst offensive output since Drew arrived. Nothing regular about that. Stunk it up! Still came within 3 to win it. Thought the game plan in first half was awful. That being said, If Officiating was accurate we still would have won. DEFENSE was great except for the Apple.

Dallas does NOT want to see us in the playoffs!

It was clear their heads were not in the game for some reason.

I screamed & cursed so much that the dogs left the room shaking.

Me too. He’s already mean, I can’t wait to see him mean and violent.
I love how Smith continuously takes accountability.

Kirkwood keeps getting better. We may need a bigger target but there is no other shortage of talent.

Cam Jordon said as much. He was extremely diplomatic about it saying he truly wished them the best of luck winning the division so he could see them in the playoffs. After a mini bye this team is going to be fired up.

The best cure for a loss is big win. It's just too bad we have to wait another 8 days to get one. In the meantime this bad taste in my mouth is going to linger until then.

I don't think they looked "regular." I think the offense looked horrible. The defense played well enough to win the game and really gave the offense opportunities to take the game in the second half. The offense, including Drew, looked horrible and overmatched.

Before Drew threw that pass to Kirkwood in the 3rd quarter, he had 69 yards passing. He had pressure in his face constantly.

Just a terrible showing.

I hope they rebound and get things sorted out. Idk if it was playcalling, guys just not focused, or if guys were just getting their ass kicked. Maybe all three, but that game was the worst offensive display I can remember in recent memory.
