Officiating
No we didn’t deserve the win regardless of the officiating. Up until the Atlanta game I though the officials were doing a great job. Very few missed calls. I started seeing it during the Atlanta game but last night was abhorrent. The icing on the cake was the 1st down that was clearly a yard short. A call like that could have changed the result of the game.
With all the time The NFL spent Trying to sell us rule changes and talking about the extra focus on helmet to helmet they sure dropped the ball on that crack to Kamara’s helmet. That would have been a flag 10 years ago. The NFL is trying to level the playing field the way they have called the last two games. |

Plus there’s this...

Re: Officiating
Fast game. Human error exists. Blink and anyone could have missed that impact. I’m pissed too. It reminded my of the spear on PT23 in San Fran that knocked him out of the game.

Re: Officiating
For me it was the missed helmet to helmet on AK. The linebacker left his feet and everything, clearly an obvious penalty that would have resulted in a first down.
That said let me give props where they're deserved, Dallas came to play. The Saints meanwhile fell into a trap game and played very poorly. |

Re: Officiating
Meh ...
Bad calls on both sides. Dumb a** Randy Gregory almost single handedly marched us down the field on one drive. Saints were lousy on offense & we didn't do enough to win. I'm 100% confident you won't see that type of performance again. "We're on to Tampa" - Sean P. |

It looks like there are two guys with cowboy shirts and headsets on behind SP. They must be staff for the stadium. They can't possibly be that dumb and think no one would notice them.

Re: Officiating
People are trying to say “Meh, he’s probably just some stadium staffer who has nothing to do with the actual team” but this is a problem in my eyes.

Re: Officiating
What in tarnation? They are next to the orange oven mitts TV timeout guy, so I presume they have something to do with him, but still...that's really not looking too good.

Re: Officiating
I’m pretty sure stadium employees don’t wear official Cowboys sideline gear during a game, or any other event held at AT&T Stadium.

Re: Officiating
Speaking of officiatiating - I did not see the explanation on why Mike's catch (or lack of catch), the one that Sean challenged - wasn't over turned. I saw the ball moving in his hands but I never saw it touch the ground. We came back from commercial and the call was upheld. Did I miss something?

Re: Officiating
Dallas obviously did some scouting on the referee team.
To me it was obvious that they were using the Seahawks tactic of hold on every play because they won't call many. The geriatric refs didn't get around to calling anytime g on Dal until they were up by 13 pts. Aikman and Buck tried to cover for them by stating that this is the most experienced group of refs in the league as if having a bunch of geezers out there is a good thing in any way. The Saints played poorly but they were crushed by the officials. Dallas did tackle well though. |
Re: Officiating
In regards to the picture. Garic said while he was a member of the Cowboys organization he was media. Sean just happened to walk by at that time and the media can have cell phones. Don’t know if I buy it but there is that. You have to hand it to Dallas. They came to play. Like I said, I was worried about that. I needed a sexual favor and didn’t get one so there’s also that. Not from my wife anyway.

Re: Officiating
For me.... at least the secondary was not the direct cause of this loss. May be more of a team effort or lack thereof.

Re: Officiating
I’m more concerned with dropped passes and pass blocking than I am referees.

Based on what the article says, the Saints organization is questioning this also. |
