The Simple Truth
Is we got our :censored: handed to us by Dallas.
BUT... I remember thinking way back when we had the Ravens, Vikings, and Rams that I'd be happy with 2 of those 3 and also figured we'd probably drop another one between the Bengals, Eagles, and Failcones. And we're 10-2, so I was wrong. Our team is clearly resilient. I wouldn't be surprised if we dropped one to Carolina, and the Bucs will play us tough as will the Steelers, but Pittsburgh is not nearly as good on the road as they are at home. So, we'll see, but as much as I hate we've probably lost home field, nobody is going to want any part of us in the playoffs, Dome or away, and if we can get Ginn back, Katy bar the door. :bng: |

The rams gotta play chicago up there and still gotta play seattle. So we might end up with the same record |
Re: The Simple Truth
PRESSURE OFF: It may work out for the best.
If we are the 2nd team, we will still get a week off in the playoffs and get a home game. Does anybody think we can't handle the Rams in Los Angles? The best part is we won't have to win out and get to rest up while the Rams are forced to win to hold home field advantage. http://ttjab.com/2166691_o.gif |

The Eagles would have to sign an entire secondary to have a shot in that game. I just don't see it. Maybe...maayybbeeee, the Bears have a shot, but I'm not counting on it, and honestly I think we lose one more. Yep, I think home field is now a distant dream. Anything is possible, and I've been wrong before (as we know), but right now I'm working under the assumption that we'll be the 2 seed, and that's okay. |
Re: The Simple Truth
Best thing about this season.... the Saints are the team that no other NFL team would like to play to get into the playoffs, or rather, have to play against them to proceed further into the playoffs

Re: The Simple Truth
Challenge: Win on the road to get to a Super Bowl. Rams could drop a few, but I ain't seeing it for the rest of their schedule.
But before all that, let's get this division in the bag. |

I'm not convinced they'll beat the Rams with him. The Giants just hung 30 on that "vaunted defense". How many will the Rams hang on it? Nothing wrong with wishful thinking I guess... |

Re: The Simple Truth
Lots of football left.
Arizona is a divisional foe & Philly is still fighting for a spot in the big dance. I stand by my hot take that the Bears will defeat the Lambs next Sunday. Saints simply need to take care of their business. Nothing is final until it's final. |

I hope you're right about Chicago. I don't think you are, but I hope you are. You are absolutely right about the Saints needing to take care of business at any rate. None of our remaining games will be easy. |

We won’t beat Rams in NFCCG on the west coast. Have you seen our playoff record on the road on the west coast? |
