Tampa Bay's defense is pretty banged up. Two of their four safeties are out. Both starting CB's are listed with Davis being doubtful and Brees killer, Grimes, questionable with his knee. Although, seeing DeSean Jackson officially out is nice.

Bushrod should be able to handle jpp and whatever lame carolina has. Its the pittsburgh group that worries me with him. One bonus is we wont have jackson out there but godwin is no slouch either

I see no clear advantage for anyone defensively this rain game. Historically passing usually takes over and pounders like Ingram. Ingram has to hold onto the ball though which is my biggest concern. His style is horrible for rain. Hope we don't lean on him too much. |

Yes TB was banged up last week. But Cam has a bad shoulder. Drew does not.
The rain will be the Big culprit and that should affect both teams equally. |

I went to a Panthers home rain game a while back. Brees did fine that game but we don't have solid WR's anymore. I see this being the MT and Kamara show and we stop getting cute with everyone else. Have to lean on the best pass catchers until we get going. No more first pass to Keith Kirkwood stuff I hope.

Marinelli is one of the best if not the best dline in the league, his philosophy is win in the trenches. He game planned a hell of a game for the front seven but tampa doesn't have that kind of coach not by a long shot. |
