MNF Crew

I normally disagree with people who always claim that announcers are biased against us. Thats just plain ole homerism.

But that crew last night certainly sounded like they were pulling for Carolina. It felt like they were hoping they would succeed on every play.

Did anyone else notice that?

Isn't it always like that?

I said the same thing. Usually when folks are screaming about the commentators, it doesn't bother me. You nailed it this time...They were rooting for them, it was beyond obvious.

Re: MNF Crew

And I will add to it, I have held my opinion back on Witten because I genuinely like the person (yes I hate Dallas). But he is just awful, simple as that. Did ESPN just assume because Romo is so good that Witten would be too? What were they thinking with this guy???

Re: MNF Crew

Dallas Cowgirl Jason Witten is one of the worst. It was pretty obvious who he wanted to win last night. IMO he's a bad announcer.

His Panther pom poms were out last night.

yep...it was really disgusting.

The announcer crew was horrible.

But I thought this thread was going to be about the refs. They were horrible too.

Reid tackled with his head the entire game. Not flagged once. MT stiff arm but somehow they said it was an offensive face mask?

WTF are the refs watching?

I used to love MNF when it was Mike Tirico, he was so unbiased and just loved calling the game.

Re: MNF Crew

Yes. There was a lot of Carolina ball gargling last night. It was horrible.

At one point, one of them was saying how great the Carolina defense was reacting to the play action the Saints offense was using. He said this after the Saints got a first down. The other dumbass had to correct him and said, "Well THAT time it resulted in a Saints first down."

And yes the officiating was awful too....again.

I rarely listen with the sound on but did last night. Really, really awful.
Who was the third guy? He was terrible.

I'll wait for the new thread before I complain about the refs

Re: MNF Crew

I don’t really think they were pulling for one side or the other, but I do believe this is the worst MNF crew I have seen in my lifetime. Between these guys and Troy Aikman I feel like I need to mute most games to enjoy them.

On the other hand Tony Romo has quickly become my favorite.

I'm still an Al Michaels fan and I think Charles Davis does a good job as color commentator. This MNF crew is almost unbearable.

Re: MNF Crew

It's becoming more and more obvious.I try to stay away from that type stuff But it's gotten out of hand.
Had Aikman in dallas game and now that crap with them two/three knuckleheads.

All I was hearing was about the friggin wine and broom by who ever that 3.5 foot puppet was.
He didnt quit bringing it up until Mcfarland asked him if he had read the label on the wine bottle or something to that effect being it was steadily getting brought up,and he got called on it.I didnt hear it again after that.

You can bet your *** cam put that on his cleats to bring full attn. to it for sympathy points and I think that was some of the reason there was an Added bias.
The video clip of our locker room with Ted Ginn and bunch busting out the broom being played before the game fueled some of the one sided love affair also I think.

Then there's Witten constantly trying to dissect every thing we were doing.Saying things like if you do this, that, and this then you will stop the Saints. These suckers are clearly sounding like they're a ton of them that clearly don't want, and can't stand the thought of us going get another one for Mr.B,D.Brees,and hell yeah..US

The league bias towards certain teams is sickening and as clear as day now...then there's the Zebras!!!!GRRR

Get Cam a bigger broom and a bottle of spoiled wine intentionally ruined and send the commie-tators $**t flavored cigars and let them suck on those instead!

The blatant bias against teams has gotten ridiculous and definately has rubbed me the wrong way to say the least.
Have to be deaf, dumb, and blind not to see it.

WHO-DAT coming to Atlanta on a mission?
The league knows this will be a royal slap to their buddy "A.Blank."

Re: MNF Crew

MNF crew is just plain garbage.....ref’s suck for everyone. Go to any forum around the league there is always a topic regarding how crappy the refs are or were.

Every time Cam got the ball JW was like, all he needs to do here is put together one drive." He said that what...8-10 times?

I noticed. Shrugged it off until I noticed more and more.

Re: MNF Crew

The refs made some bad calls last night. The Kirkwood PI. Called it a pick play. WTF was he suppose to do. The MNF crew said he shouldn’t have stopped on his route. Well, that would probably be hard to do without plowing through 2 defenders.

Re: MNF Crew

I actually kinda love it because this defense we have going on lately, it silences all the chatter. They can say whatever. We'll keep taking group photos.
