Week 17
Which do you want?
Club record 14th victory, or, rested healthy players for playoffs. I'm going with the latter. |

Play it like the 4th preseason game; play the starters one series then rest them.

Both!

Re: Week 17
Cam is hurt. Panthers are out of the playoff race.
We can run our starters first half and should be able to put up enough points to play 2nd string in 2nd half and win. Just no whammies or injuries, please. |
Re: Week 17
If this were college it'd be 3rd and 4th string all game.

Re: Week 17
I would play the starters for a bit - a drive or two. Getting a win is completely off my radar next week. Play enough to keep routine, then get them off the field and let 'em rest and watch the game. They've earned it.

Re: Week 17
T & T
Taysom and Teddy ... all in the second half. |
Re: Week 17
There’s no way on God’s green Earth I would let Brees, Thomas, Kamara, Lattimore or Davis play next week.

Re: Week 17
Put Armstead in bubble wrap. Unger & Peat in the 1st Qtr, Tom & Clapp to finish. Brees to get 4K, then Teddy, Teddy, Teddy. I'd like to see everyone of our young back ups on defense get a shot to shine for an entire game, especially Hardee & Biegel.

Healthy and rested for almost 3 weeks is pretty good

The objective each season is to win the Super Bowl. Nothing about next week's game is going to advance the Saints towards that objective. Rest as many as you can. SFIAH |
