Did anyone else think Michael Thomas' TD

looked the same as Lance Moore's 2-point conversion in Super Bowl 44?

Michael Thomas' TD you mean?

Slightly similar, but Thomas' was a much easier catch.

Brees threw one of the worst passes of his career on that two pointer to Moore, it just worked out because Lance was a boss.

Yes, I meant MT's; I'll fix it in the thread

No. Lance caught and made a "football move" to get it across the line. Thomas had the forward progress on the catch.

Lance's was more spectacular if we are comparing the two but Thomas is just as much a Boss.

I sure hope MT stays here for his whole career!

That is the classic Lance Moore Play that we did a lot in 09. It is still the go to play when we absolutely must get a TD or first down.

Looked a lot like the Julio td denied by Lattimore last year
Only this one counted

It did remind me of that play - and I said the same thing immediately - "that's a score" - and sure enough I was right. I remember it vividly because I'm so frequently wrong. LOL

Re: Did anyone else think Michael Thomas' TD

There was a little bit of hand checking with Thomas holding the defenders arms for a split second so he couldn't grab his

Then the turn and separation

AFTER FURTHER REVIEW THE PLAYER HAS BEEN DEEMED DOWN AT THE 2 FOOT LINE. UNDER "CHAPTER 45, RULE 345.689"ANY TD PLAY THAT MIGHT MAKE THE SAINTS LOOK GOOD MUST BE CONSIDERED A PENALTY" UP TO 14 DAYS AFTER THE NFL CAN RULE IT ILLEGAL AND AWARD THE VICTORY TO THE OTHER TEAM"

All My Love
