The entire team is going to practice this week. It really doesn't make much sense to think that after playing 4 months of football, that all of a sudden everything that has been drilled in will be lost due an extra week where an actual game isn't played. It's not like this is a young team with no playoff experience. It's not like this is a team that doesn't have a SB winning coach and QB. A coach and QB that went on their SB run with 3 straight losses and a bye week. Like you, I was around in 2009. And exactly the same arguments were made then. SFIAH |

The good part about the defensive players is that you can keep them active but limit their snap counts because of the number of players you dress. Harder offensively, primarily on the line. I would cut Cobbs and add Williams or Wozniak from the PS. Have no idea if either are anywhere close to being able to play 20 snaps, but hey, it's an exhibition game |
Re: Saints Sunday inactives pool
was looking at snap counts to see who might need rest:

Re: Saints Sunday inactives pool
I would imagine that Drew Brees would like to throw for eight more yards. Another 4,000 yard season would look good on his stats. We know Drew enjoys owning all the records. Still, he would rather win the Lombardy then ever break another record.

Changed my mind. Rest anyone and everyone we can afford to.
Win division. Check. Home field. Check. It’s time to prep our warriors for extreme battle. |
