Saints tight end Josh Hill fined $20k for unnecessary roughness against Steelers
 
The NFL fined New Orleans Saints tight end Josh Hill $20,054 for unnecessary roughness against the Pittsburgh Steelers last Sunday.

In the first quarter, Hill was flagged for a horse collar tackle when he took after Steelers safety Sean Davis after Taysom Hill threw an interception.

Fine amounts are mandated by the CBA and have minimums. $20K+ is the agreed upon 'first offense' fine for unnecessary roughness. Clear cut, black and white.
