2004 Recap: It was a tale of two seasons for the Saints as they started out poorly, but were very hot in the second half of the season. During the last 8 weeks of the season, he never had less than 64 yards in a game, and scored in six of the last eight games.

2005 outlook:

Positives: The team looks like it turned on the switch mid-season, and should carry that momentum thru to the start of next season. The team has tons of talent of the offensive side of the ball, and this will keep teams from giving Horn the attention he deserves. He is supported by a solid run game, and the team has many talented Wide Receivers to keep the secondary busy.

Negatives: Two words, Aaron Brooks. Aaron Brooks has not progressed as much as he should have over the last few seasons, and the team might make a move to another Quarterback in the off-season. Chances are that Brooks will be the starter week one in 2005. Brooks is very erratic, and when he self-destructs, the rest of the offense sputters.

The Bottom Line: Joe Horn continues to be one of the most consistent top tier Wide Receivers in the league. This will continue next year. While he gets more attention for his antics after he scores than his play, he is a stud Wide Receivers and one of the safest choices to be your number one Wide Receiver. Take him after Moss, Owens, and Harrison are off the field, and you may get the best value of the bunch.
