Interesting point as regards "home field advantage"!

I think i'm right in saying that only one "home" team won their game in the wildcard rounds!

Wasn't expecting that!!!

GEAUX SAINTS!!

Take into consideration that the Wildcard Round is made up of two wildcard teams (which could conceivably be the second and third best teams in the conference) visiting the two worst divisional winners. It's not as surprising as it seems on the surface.

Seriously not expecting many Philly fans if past experience holds true.

The health of our o-line is the big question. They have tough and formidable defenders on their line. We need to protect Drew and create lanes and I hope they are healthy and ready to do it. It's the only aspect of the game that worries me and if we can't protect Drew or establish the run they have a chance.

Oh, and win the turnover battle. Do that, we win. We lose if they get more turnovers & Tate goes all turdish on us.

Didn’t Tate get a little nicked up? He still played well though. He was a total non factor last time.

Yep. Tate is a gamer. He caught a deep pass across the middle late, took a solid shot to the side of the ribs however held on to the ball. He also scored the winning TD on 4th and goal.

Definitely a guy we need to game plan on.

Tate was brand new to the offense last go round...he's been getting more involved lately. Lattimore on Alshon I'll take. Bell or a LB vs Ertz, Ertz gets that matchup. Apple or PJ vs Tate, toss up. We'll need to account for Sproles, too. I don't expect we get a ton of pressure on Foles...the Bears didn't and they have Mack, Floyd, etc, so we better cover in the secondary.

Luckily, I'm not the DC. Any other week I'd be golden...

Sometimes teams win when they shouldn't have. As in despite 3 turnovers. My point is Philly is good enough to make us pay for mistakes, and vice versa.

Cmon, I've sure you've watched enough Saints football to know we've squeaked out a win when we shouldn't have. Let's stop splitting hairs here and get back to Eagles.

Heard an interesting stat last from either Buck or Troy last night and can't recall it today. Something about Foles's success vs zone defense. Anyone else catch that?

We win by over 21 points.

Key players needed some rest and got it. We are ready to toll.

I'm having trouble uploading the video byte but per Katzenstein, Peat is in some sort of club cast. Not sure what type of impact this will have on his blocking. Feagles D line could hunt here.

point made, point taken. Against Philly we ended +1 in turnover margin and won by 6 DESPITE being down 14. Without Alshon's mistake, we likely lose.

Well, after looking at his performance on Sunday ... Peat was definitely not himself with that wrist/hand injury.
He was beaten badly.

I have no doubt whatsoever win would have still won had Jeffery made the catch. They still had quite a bit of ground to cover and needed to get into the endzone. We would have stopped them. Absolutely.

You're a unique breed.... I knew we would come back. I cheered for a big play - even said "we need a pick!!" My only fear was their offense drought was about to end.

I'm in awe of this team's ability to weather all storms. We'll be tested severely this week again!
