Jason Peters: Saints ran up the score, Eagles eager to play them again
Eagles left tackle Jason Peters says the Eagles have been longing for a rematch with the Saints ever since that one-sided beatdown, and now they’re going to get it in the divisional round of the playoffs.
“We didn’t play well at all,” Peters said. “They ran up the score. We wanted them again, we got them again. This time, hey, we coming. It’s definitely not going to be the same outcome.” https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.co...omment-6596982 |

A couple of tips if you don't want a team to run up the score:
play better early and don't quit in the 4th quarter What a p***y |

Thanks for the revisionist history Peters. You should probably stick to blocking.

Be careful of what you ask for. |

I still don’t know why we left Brees in there so long. I know Brees doesn’t like to bow out but this is probably his last shot.
The Eagles leaving Wentz in was just plain stupid given his injury history. They are going to have a decision to make this offseason. Wonder if we should entertain Foles if he hits the market. We win, Brees retires, QB of the future in Foles, Two Dat. |
Re: Jason Peters: Saints ran up the score, Eagles eager to play them again
I wonder why they stick with Wentz when Foles moves the team. But that's their problem just want to shut them down again.

Re: Jason Peters: Saints ran up the score, Eagles eager to play them again
Before that touchdown to Kamara, the Saints had scored 5 touchdowns and a field goal on 7 possessions.
After that Kamara touchdown, Wentz threw two more interceptions and turned it over on downs. If Payton was trying to run up the score, the Saints could've gotten to 60. |
Re: Jason Peters: Saints ran up the score, Eagles eager to play them again
And why would we not want to play them again. We beat the crap out of them and they barely won their game. It was not even mildy convincing that they are a good team.

The problem hey're going to have this time, especially if they're line cannot generate tons of pressure, is that Ginn stretches the field with speed so how do you double MT, and if you do while ginn is being accounted for who covers AK, a LB...good luck with that. They doubled MT last time and look what Smith did. This game is a win if our oline does their job. And it might be a pretty easy win in some regards |
