The things they are saying on their msg board have me shaking my head, lol. All of them whining about us "running up the score" on them and crying about our Saints going for it on 4th down when up by 30. And all I can think of is hey, put on your big boy pants iggles and act like a grown-up. It's really bad over there and not PG, so keep young eyes away from it. The complete, utter level of vitriol and hatred there is amusing, go see for yourselves, lol.

I grew up in S. Jersey, my entire fam are Eagles fans. This is why I am not and have never been. It's annoying.

If we win the toss I hope we defer. I love the ball after half. They're going to come out fired up, but a few plays and yards and that will calm down.

Philly fans are just as delusional as dallas fans. Only difference is when philly loses they know they lost but dallas fans still act like they won and will make the sb. Come sunday ol saint nick and their whimsical run will end.

What fricking game did they watch? We put in backup RB Washington and ran the ball in the 4th. Teddy took a kneel-down to end the game.

They are being dishonest. "Running up the score" is just their stupid false narrative and that is what they are going with.

I am really kinda surprised that Eagles fans don't seem to understand the story on that 4th and 7 call....Too far for a field goal, too close to punt, so Payton called a pass play, that was basically Alvin Kamara coming directly AT Malcolm Jenkins. It was personal, it was all in FUN -- because football is supposed to be FUN -- and in a way it was a sign of respect from Payton -- if Payton likes you, he is gonna test you, and give you his best shot! But Jenkins couldn't make the play so it kind of wound up being an "accidental" score. That's football. If you don't like it, stop it. Malcolm certainly knew he got beat, and he knew it was personal, which is obvious because he then immediately flipped Payton off with the bird, and then he talked about it after the game, saying he loves Sean to death....which shows me that Jenkins himself didn't take it TOO seriously. These Iggle fans sorta need to put on their big boy pants.

I hope they come in playing all emotion. Technique and execution will go out the window, penalties will mount up, etc. they will eventually lose their cool and give up.

That's why you go up by 4 or more scores to crush their spirit & will. Its called winning a football game. Dont like it then get into figure skating.

I grew up in Northern Jersey, spent a lot of time South of the Raritan River Bridge. All Eagle country and are the most obnoxious Fans and most of them
hated Andy Reid.

Rail, I lived in Philly for two years back in the late 90's and was able to attend a 3 games (Vet stadium). That Eagle fan base is down right brutal & hateful. There was even an instance when they (Philly police dept) had to "threaten" fans by going undercover (wore opposing team jerseys) just to keep trouble at a minimum. Embarrassing fans.

Not surprised they had a jail cell on the bottom floor :rolleyes:.

Yup, that Rams game immediately came to mind when I read that. We were killing them at half time, ended up being a nail-biter. Let's not have any nail-biters in the postseason!

I forgot to tell you simple ****s that I had a patient yesterday who was a Cowpuke fan. This dude, 35 years old, had a stroke during the 4th quarter of the Dallas/Seattle game. I immediately told him I was a life long fan of the World Champs, and wrote Fly Eagles Fly on his IV pump.

I personally give the Eagles props for getting where they are with all of their injuries. I hope the Saints don't underestimate them in any way, shape or form.

Only better storyline for the NFL would be an Eagles/Cowboys NFCCG. Both big market teams and one of the biggest rivalries in football. Rigged.

I do too. Turning a season around the way they did is impressive. Add in the injuries they have had to deal with. That team has heart.

exactly. They're really some of the ****tiest people. In 08 when I came down to NOLA for the Monday night game against the pack and even after it was over walking out of the stadium there was good ribbing between pack and Saints fans but never anything in terms of violence from either side

I am 1000% in agreement with this entire post. Growing up in S. Jersey and gone to games in the Mutant Level (700 Level) of the Vet destroyed any notion of liking the Eagles even a little bit.

I agree with deferring to let our D get out there and get down in dirty from the start. This won't be a blow out like Week 11, but it will be a decisive victory to end the magic of 'St. Nick' and shut the Iggles fans up!

Yeah, and say what you want about Atlanta, but I go to that game every year and it's civil.
Flyers fans even worse.

Worst I ever got was when we needed to beat them in 2010 just to get into the playoffs. We did, but during the game a guy shouted at me "Raise your hand if you're the wild card!"
I responded, "Can't- my Super Bowl ring is too heavy." Polite laughter all around.
