Also Goff is useless without McVey. Sean McVay makes pre snap reads for Goff, as it turns out.

Goff isn’t required to make complex reads from the pocket. More often than not, he’s catching the snap, faking a handoff and throwing to a wide-open receiver in the vacant areas of the field. This is backed up by the numbers: Only four full-time starters have thrown fewer passes into tight windows (a defender within a yard of the intended receiver), per Next Gen Stats.

Making things even easier on Goff, McVay makes a point to get the Rams lined up quickly so he can get a look at the defensive alignment and call an audible based on that look. We wrote about this tactic last season, and McVay is still doing it in Goff’s third year. Here’s a clear example of the Rams head coach calling an audible for Goff.

This may be the game to have a headset malfunction. Then neither team can use them.

I was at that rams game and the loudest i saw the meter go up to was like 110db which was the loudest game i had been to. till i went to the eagles last sunday when for every third down it was over 125db consistently and the max i saw was 128db on a few of them. If goff and mcvay think they arent gonna be louder than that or what they heard then wasnt that bad, then both of them are the arrogant *****s i thought they were.

We have a history of beating teams three times in a season. Don't believe me. Ask Carolina....

McVay likes to "up tempo" at times. Guys break the huddle really quick, run to the line and snap it. Then other times, they'll run up to the line &"Golf" will hold it until the clock gets under 3 seconds before he snaps it.

I guess what I'm getting at is that the DOME needs to be rocking and disrupt all of this nonsense from the start.

Fans lucky enough to attend this one need to leave the game hoarse ;).
