Bill would direct money from slots at airport to Saints paym

It could get tricky but if the Saints could Give(sell) the state a License to use the Teams name and so-forth without getting the NFL involved for slots I'd say go for it. But of course it depends on How much the License would go for and how much money they can make off the slots. I don't know how any of the revenue the state gets from slots or "Gamming" is set up. But it's worth a look.

it would have to be state slots... the proceeds would be indicated for the Saints fund but... if you use the Saints name on them then the Saints can get even more money from that and it won't be counted as the money the state pays Benson.

Why don't they just put the Hotel/Motel tax state wide so that the tourist pay the money that is owed to the team. Also, why can't we put in place a 1% resteraunt tax for a new stadium like they are doing in Indianapolis. On a hundred dollar tab you would pay an extra dollar. As much as we are known for our food we sure could raise more money than Indy.

Just a couple of thoughts.

Oh brother, So let me see if I got this right, letting the Saints move out of state will reduce crime and increase educational spending? I mean if you think about it sure less drunks on Sundays... kids can spend that free time instead of watching the games studying.
