16-3 Baby! The NFC Championship!
I'm reading talk about the jitters around hear. I don't get it. I'm not nervous at all. Yes, I am looking forward to the game, but I have total confidence that the Rams are being overestimated. As mediocre as their defense has been this season, they are still over-hyped. The pundits are declaring Talib as being the key with his return. I just don't see it.
I'm hearing that the loss of Rankins is a crippling blow. Bullcrap! We have outstanding defensive tackles in Onyemata, Stallworth and Davison chomping at the bit to prove their worth. I can easily see them elevating their game tremendously. And then there is the new found running game anchored by the addition of C.J. Anderson being touted as the real thing by the talking heads. Do not forget that it only began three weeks ago when the Rams faced the lowly Cardinals and 49ers in meaningless games the two teams had mentally surrendered prior to the kickoff. The third game was against the Cowgirls in L.A. in a game the Cowgirls dropped their panties early and left them around their ankles for the remainder of the game. (This is the Cowpatties we're talking about) I proclaim bullcrap once again. Against the Saints run defense the flash in the pan (or plop in the toilet) Anderson will return to the form which has sent him to the street repeatedly over the past couple of years. And then comes the coup de grâce ... the Superdome crowd. The media is underestimating the impact of the most frightening and overpowering home field advantage the Dome can produce when the crowd is at their zenith. That apex will be reached again this Sunday afternoon when facing the wool producing farm animals from lower California. **** the Rams! 16-3 Baby! ![]() Who Dat!! |
