On another note having 16 games in one season at one stadium will have pretty good impact on the economy. Maybe we should get an AFC team in the dome.

Believe it or not, it hasn't been Rankins that has been the key to the Saints' ability to stop the run, it is the speed of the LB corps coupled with the entire front four. Davis, Anzalone and Klein have been eating up the run.

Yes, Rankins has emerged as the best interior defensive lineman, but Onemata, Davison and Stallworth are very close behind. They are going to be fired up and I don't think we'll see any drop off whatsoever the the intensity versus the run.
