So do most owners of NFL franchises.
As much as he wanted to move back to L.A., I think it's possible the NFL might have wanted it more. They have made it clear that they are desperate to succeed in that market. And when the opportunity presented itself, in a close game in the NFC Championship, they just may have made a decision to pull a string to get the Rams over the top. It's only speculation, but it makes as much sense as anything else.
Kroenke, for all I know, may have something to do with it. But I'm not sure the evidence is currently pointing at him. |
