Trades You Want Before Free Agency Starts
 

I keep reading about trades that teams are agreeing to before free agency starts. We could trade now, wait until draft day to trade or wait until we get to training camp and try to fill a hole we didn't address properly or an injury occurs. Should we try to beat the free agency frenzy and work a back room deal for a player we prize? As we discussed in another thread we have some trade capitol if necessary.

I think Loomis and Payton always have a back room deal in the works.

We will trade our number one next year to move up in the draft or gain more picks.

Exactly. Nothing would surprise me. We were so close if there is ANY way we could get someone proven at an area of need I hope we do whatever it takes.

Brees ran out of gas the final 2 regular season games and the playoffs. He needs to be on a "pitch count" for the first 6 games. More Taysom Hill at QB. Bring Garrett Gilbert in he has talent.

And if they did I would have no issue with that. The window is closing fast and you have to go all in. I'd rather see a team break the bank and make their run during a window than have regrettable hindsight for the entire future thinking only if we had grabbed one missing piece we would have had it. Chips to the middle and let's roll this thing. I'm not interested in trading Super Bowl opportunities for a head start into the next rebuild thanks.
