Be careful what you ask for.

Brees is going to have a resurgence in 2019. I do not believe he is in complete decline like some people think. With Brees declining arm strength, I do think we are going to need to get someone at the tight-end position that can catch the ball though and make plays. Brees is still as accurate as ever. I just don't think the team had the weapons last year to properly utilize him.

On Bridgewater, I have mixed opinions. I think he has the skill set, but I question is potential to be a leader. I worry we may end up with a guy that looks good stat wise on paper but doesn't win games. He strikes me as the type of guy that adapts to his teammates and is sort of reactive instead of being the center and leading. There are quiet leaders that lead by example and there are vocal leaders, but to play QB in the NFL you have to be proactive in some way. I worry that he lacks that.

I sure hope not Dude. You keep riding the horse that won the Triple Crown when he is still competitive. You run him hard!

Unfortunately, we can't put Drew out to pasture and profit from him being a stud sire. So, we'll keep riding him until he can't get out of the gate with a walker!lol

We need to give him a good O-line, running game and a better short passing game with a slot receiver and tight end who can be a safety valve. I believe that Drew has a couple of more years in him and that he could manage a game even longer than that effectively.
