Could our linebacker play be better? Absolutely. But our linebacker play is still among the top third in the league, and I can live with that if our skill players, WRs not named Thomas, DBs would step up and finish the deal... |

Klein - UFA Kiko - 3rd ACL tear (possibly cap casualty) Thor - good player but can he go the distance? It would be very wise for the Saints front office brass to address the linebacker position this off season and into the draft. There could be a stud that falls from 3rd -5th round like that assassin Dre Greenlaw/Arkansas (Niners). Terrific 5th round (did not run 40 @ combine due to sore hamstring) rookie draft pick. I'm no longer content with the core we have now. Good enough for reg season ? Sure but the playoffs ... different animal & we need more sideline dawgs. |
