Saints place tender on cornerback Ken Crawley

Hopefully the confidence returns for Ken in 2019.

Side note - I think the Saints will draft another corner back in next weeks draft. Still no guarantees he will make the squad.

Safe option to bring back though.

Unless a corner back Payton and his cadre really like falls in unforeseen fashion, it'll be one of those late picks as a flyer, and that rookie will have to just wow in camp to make the roster...

If his medicals check out and he's fully recovered, Virginia's Tim Harris comes to mind for a 6th, 7th rd pick...

Or if Corey Ballentine is there in the fifth round for us...
