Who will get the start at 3rd WR: Henderson, Hakim, Gardner
After the Saints acquired Az-Hakim from the Lions, who do you think will get the start at 3rd wide-receiver?

There is just something not right about the Devery situation. I hope he progresses, but I really don't see him starting at the beginning of the season. Poole sounds good from reports, but his past stats point to the bench making it hard to judge right now. I bet we told Hakim he would start to get him here too.

i reluctantly went with hakim, even though he has bad hands im sure they love his speed.

LOL
The need to get a diversity training program. They can try to get the San Fran person. |
the waterboy?

My theory about Hakim is that he couldn't drop a more important ball then he already did, so we're safe.

Week 1 - probably Hakim. But he'll end the season in Haslett's "dog house" after leading the team in drops with 11 over the first 3 games, fumbling 3 times on special teams, and having a return average far below what Michael Lewis averaged before the Saints cut him ( Lewis was consequently scooped up by Tampa Bay, broke their record for never returning a kickoff for a TD in week 2 of the season, and plays as a 3rd WR for the Bucs.)
Poole comes after Hakim is demoted and a brief Devery Henderson experiment proves to be a disaster. Poole is big, sure handed, and unafraid of going up and getting those AB laser moon rockets in the middle of the field. Poole finish the season with 35 receptions, 550 yards, and 4 TDs in only 10 starts. |
