It looks like the usual fine haul from the UDFA's....one or two gems waiting to be dusted off and carefully cut to be shiny diamonds...like on Superman's chest(or mine). :roflmao:

Re: UDFA Tracker Thread
It’s been 14 years since NAU has had a player taken in the NFL Draft, but former wide receiver Emmanuel Butler signed a free agent contract with the New Orleans Saints after the draft was completed Saturday. Butler is NAU’s all time leader in touchdown receptions with 33 and receiving yards with 3,217. He also holds single season records with 1,208 yards and 16 touchdowns. Butler will report to Saints rookie camp this week and be ready for fall camp later in the summer.

Re: UDFA Tracker Thread
I saw that. It blows my mind that he went undrafted, though.
I thought only DS and Mickster didn't know how draft? Take all the hours all the EGGSPURTS toiled to come up with a projection of when and what team he was "SUPPOSED" to go to. As previously mentioned "CRAPSHOOT" |

Which round was he "PROJECTED" to go in again? |

With a year of coaching from one of the best - Coach Curtis J, learning disciplined route trees, not just catching, but snatching balls, full-time conditioning, diet - we're gonna see a big boost from Kirkwood, Tre'quan... Outside speedster to learn from Ginn would've been nice, but we had depth priorities on IOL, DE, and S. Even with Rankins possibly out for the season (out of the boot), we've got something to work with... |

LiL Jordan! He has some natural talent, for a big receiver he is agile. He could be that mismatch in the slot we are looking for to elevate our offense. Hoping for it!

Re: UDFA Tracker Thread
I'm excited about the Devine Izigbo pick, I just hope they dont attempt to get him on the practice squad.
Every preseason they seem to make some bizarre cuts. If we went into the season with Murray, Izigbo and Kamara I'd be very happy. |

Porter Gustin DE Edge Rusher https://imagecomposer.nfl.com/?l=htt...png&w=308&c=71 Gustin was looking to become a Clay Matthews-like playmaker for the Trojans in 2017, and not just because he shared the same long, blonde hair. He had earned honorable mention All-Pac-12 honors in 2016, starting all 13 games, posting 68 tackles, 13 for loss, 5.5 sacks, and four pass breakups. He ended up missing most of his junior season, however, with a biceps injury and a broken toe, playing in only four games with two starts (16 tackles, three sacks). He also missed half of his senior season due to a broken ankle (five starts in six games played), but still led the Trojans with seven sacks among his 28 tackles, 10 for losses. The former Parade All-American and four-sport star in Utah (football, baseball, basketball, track) lived up to the hype as a true freshman, starting twice in 14 games, making seven tackles for loss, including 5.5 sacks on the year (25 total tackles). |
Re: UDFA Tracker Thread
Don't the Saints have an Oft-injured QB from BYU as well as Oft-injured Florida linebacker?
Will we ever learn? Never sign players with injury histories... |
