Communicated with Barry Hirstius via Twitter and Barry's really pumped from what he saw of Granderson at rookie training camp - really, really fast off the snap, definite practice squad, and likely makes the roster on talent alone...

My only reservation is the pending charges. Even if it proves inaccurate or Granderson's guilty of a lesser crime or bad judgement - have concerns about his character that have tempered my enthusiasm for Granderson...

Giving the benefit of the doubt, suspended all judgement until the details and facts are brought to public trial for all to examine...

Payton's got to feel the pressure to win one now with Drew as Payton more than anyone is to blame for not getting it done twice now in the playoffs and have back of mind concern that he's lowering character standards...
