Saints Sean Payton says, "I may get tired of coaching before Brees gets tired of playing"
 

Saints head coach Sean Payton dropped by the Tiki Barber and Brandon Tierney show on CBS Sports radio and talked about a number of things, including the future of the team's quarterback position. Drew Brees is 40 years old and entering his 19 season in the NFL. How much longer does Payton think the future Hall-of-Famer is going to play?

"You know I don't ever want to try and predict it," Payton said. "I may get tired of coaching before he's ready to get tired of playing."

Brees showed no signs of slowing down last season, completing a career best 74.4% of his passes. 2019 is the final year of his current contact and will pay him $23 million.

Bingo. Had the line held up most of the remaining games wouldn’t have even been close and he would have run away with MVP. I still think he got a little nicked up in that Dallas game and wound up having to play through it the rest of the year.
