allocated to the Saints... Anders Akerstrom

Former University of Arkansas player and Norwegian native Anders Akerstrom will be allocated to the Saints practice squad this season as the NFL International Development Practice Squad program. Akerstrom is a former kicker who developed into a defensive end. Akerstrom will be an extra member of the Saints' practice squad and cannot be activated to the active roster or released from the program by the Saints. Eight teams, in the AFC West and NFC South, each participate in the program.

NFL International Development Practice Squad... that's a pretty good idea by the NFL. Gives more exposure and oppurtunies to people overseas.

Finley was a QB from Northern IL who went unsigned and the Saints picked up in FA two years ago... if I remember correctly. He won't ever make it in the NFL, IMO.
