Frustrated that he was limited, still not 100% yet; look he's got till training camp to get right...

If Meredith still can't run, then we'll find five (5) maybe six (6) WRs that can get it done...

I'd say Mike Thomas, Ted Ginn, Tre'Quan Smith are locks; Keith Kirkwood is a likely; so you've really got one (1) maybe two (2) slots that the candidates are competing...

If Carr can make the jump to the Lance Moore/Willie Snead role, he's you fifth guy and likely underneath guy...

Meredith has the experience and has been in the system a year now, but he's got to be available...

Darkhorse I'm looking at seeing healthy, schooled is Travin Dural; the physical gifts are there, but can he put it all together with limited snaps...

This guy did absolutely nothing in 2018. I honestly don't see Carr making the squad. I'm hopeful a young, healthy rookie steps up and pushes him out the door.

Well, this is year #2 for Meredith - sometimes it can take that long for a player to get over that terrible injury both physically and mentally.

Camp awaits.

Great Point on catastrophic injury; yes, a year plus, or more is right - that's why fans should temper their expectations on the Rankins recovery updates...

But for the money spent on Meredith, he should have come in healthy and ready to be a strong No. 2 contributor right away, not convalesce for a year and collect $9.5 mil for essentially one year...

He did take a pay cut on his base this year of $2.1mil, he can still make up a large chunk through bonus. While I liked the idea of signing someone, healthy, like him there, the faulty injury assessment was costly...

And that's probably why a lot of fans are frustrated and ready to move on to Tre'Quan Smith, Keith Kirkwood and other promising options...

Hope the competition is tough at all positions and all players come out better from it, and we find the right 53...

My concern with him was seeing Brees, out of character, call him out in public in the middle of a game...

JP I think having COOK in the fold will change a lot for others (WR's) around him.

For whatever reason, I'm high on Keith Kirkwood in year 2. Circle back to the Dallas (I lucked up and got a ticket) game ... I zero'd in on him a LOT. Brees seems to have a lot of trust. Big target, runs sound routes & has very good hands.

If he gets better "separation" off the line ... he could be nice. Same goes for 3rd rounder 3quan Smith.

Let's get it in 2019 !
