Apple is only 23 ... meaning he'll continue to develop next to Lattimore and PRob.

I saw enough "flashes" in 2018 to believe he can become a really solid #2 corner in New Orleans.

He has potential to be very good but he's ready for a new contract after this year. Lattimore is the man who deserves a big pay day to keep him in New Orleans. We've got a young team with some big contracts coming up and we need to decide who we can afford to keep. Fortunately we have good depth across the board who are learning the Saints system.
