I agree on Baltimore. The Ravens have this habit of cranking out elite defensive teams with lack luster offenses, and then disappointing in the playoffs. I don't know if they will be back in the playoffs unless Jackson develops more as a passer.

I don't think Seattle, neither L.A. team or the Texans will be back in the playoffs next year.

Dallas is the one team I am iffy on, cause their defense is legit but they are still coached by the clapper, which means if they make the playoffs, they aren't going far.

I have a bit more belief in the Chargers than you, but on all other counts I agree.

Truth is, most good NFL teams would have zero change of making the playoffs if the starting QB goes down. The Saint's, by contrast have a Pro Bowl QB as a backup. Sure, Teddy isn't Drew, but he is probably the leagues best No. 2 and history says he's better than over 50% of the starters in the NFL.

Agreed.

If they can learn how to defend the screen pass, they will be improved.

Chargers were ranked dead last in yards given up on screen passes last year. The Pats didn't even really do anything special against them in the playoffs, they just did screens to Sony Michel and carved them to pieces.

I actually agree on Houston, Chicago, Dallas.

I really don't know on the rest, including us. Our division is too competitive and we can't expect to run over Carolina and Atlanta again head to head. This division always has turnover. Then there is the elephant in the room, Tampa Bay. If they turn it around with Arians, we are gonna have a fight. Honestly, 4-2 will be hard to come by in the division again.

Heated battles in the NFC SOUTH ... indeed.

God I hate playing Tampa, more so than Atlanta and Carolina. They don't make the playoffs, but they are like those pesky Lions teams that pull out wins in the NFC North to screw it up for whatever team wins that division.

I think our record vs Tampa since 2006 is 16-10. They seem to always split with us. One game will be a blowout or a convincing win that isn't really close, then the other game is always a tight, grind it out type of game, usually with low scoring.

Tampa was the team that threw a wrench at us in 2011 when they shocked the crap out of us. The Rams loss that year didn't really bother me cause they were riding high on the Cards World Series win and we were coming off a laughable blowout against a tanking team. But that Tampa loss made me want to scream. Losing to Tampa cost us a first round bye.

I've said before that the NFC South has been built to beat the Saints. No one else can put it together like Sean Payton though thank goodness. There is a lot of talent on the other teams but none of them possess the vision that coach Payton has. That is what separates the men from the boys.

In Georgia, you need a pry-bar.

I think the pesky team will be the dolphins this season , just feel it.

I believe new HC Brian Flores will turn that team around and I think the Cards gave up on Josh Rosen prematurely.
