Best complete WR in NFL
:D Horn is at the top of my list, but, #1 overall I'd have to say Andre Johnson of Texas. Good attitude and rising star. Who's your pick?

RE: Best complete WR in NFL
I was also going to say Andre Johnson but then I thought about Hines Ward. Not only can he catch and make plays, he's the best blocking wide receiver in the NFL.

Overall I'd say Hines Ward, but if T.O. or Moss consistantly blocked for their team during run plays, and didn't create all the drama they do, I would say them. Overall I would have Horn 4th.

RE: Best complete WR in NFL
This by all means is no question... its Marvin Harrison, hands down. No attitude, performs every game. Shows up to everygame and is there til the time actually runs out and game is over.

Marvin Harrison. Easy answer

"Complete"
|
Marvin Harrison by a long shot. He's the epitome of a "professional". Route running, finishing plays, everything.

I like Hines Ward.
He's exactly what I hope (anticipate) Donte will turn into, only Donte has much much better speed. Rewatching the 2004 Dallas game (for about the 7th time) was like watching Hines Ward with 4.3 speed. Donte showed flashes of that tougness last year. I'm hoping he combines his explosivness to that same toughness next year. |
Hines Ward.
That being said........ JOE IS THE MAN!!!!!!!!!!! |
what in gods name happen to harrison. andre johnson, christ i like the guy but shiiiit he hasn't been around long enough for that title. most explosive is moss. owens has to be considered and probably after last years super bowl and his injury could be number one. well then he starts his usual shiiit. have to go with harrison for now

This is a tough call when you consider that any reciever during the course of a game will touch the ball only a few times.
As far as the rest of the game goes; a reciever can occupy space or he can try to help his team any way that he can. In this sense I like the way that Ward plays. He seals to the outside for his running back and his downfield blocking is outstanding. He always seems to be in the frame at the end of a play. It could be fighting for an extra bit of yardage after his own catch but more often he is blocking for someone else. Reminds me of Joe. I like that. He is a FOOTBALL PLAYER. |
