Notice the gradual increase in PFF grades on Daniel O from 2016 - 2018. Hiring coach Ryan Nielsen transformed his game but YES we can reach our full potential in 2019.

Not having Rankins sure does suck though.

Davenport was cheap for a generational talent. The people who stay awake at night worrying about two first round draft picks really need to breathe. It was a trade along with a first and fifth I believe. He's worth it. I loved watching him last year and I think he's ready to explode this year.

My one concern is injuries. When they lost Rankins in the playoffs, our pass rush pretty much disappeared. We had just one sack in the playoffs total. In the final month of the season, we ranked #1 in sacks per teams of weeks 11 to 17.

I agree that we got Davenport cheap and he was 100% worth it. He reminds me of a young Frank Warren for anyone that remembers his productive years.
