T.J. Yeldon
Word is he is sinking on the depth chart. He did a good job backing up Fournette. Fairly consistent and a decent pass catcher despite having one of the worst QB's in the NFL.
He'd be a great fit here IMO if available but we likely don't have the cash. Kamara's catching is a massive part of the offense and we really don't have anyone to marginally fill that role. |
Re: T.J. Yeldon
We already have Dwayne Washington folks.
Any other RB that is signed at this point is possibly a camp body. |
Re: T.J. Yeldon
There is always the possibility that an UDFA shines.....it's happened before.

Re: T.J. Yeldon
Seems to be the norm with the Saints and FA running backs!

I like Yeldon in this offense.

Re: T.J. Yeldon
He is a good fit. I liked the potential Riddick fit as well.

Ozigbo, baws ... Ozigbo !

Re: T.J. Yeldon
I like Ozigbo. Gonna be hard making the team but his chances are better than Boston Scott.

Re: T.J. Yeldon
Better sign everybody in sight. Latavius Murray is a freakin injury waiting to happen.
The whole reason I wasn’t a huge fan of signing the guy, but it wouldn’t be the saints if they didn’t sign at least ONE lemon every stinking year. Why, WHY?! |

I just found out that he had a minor ankle surgery in March but recovery is on track and he should be ready soon. |

Re: T.J. Yeldon
He's only had good games when Kamara went down. I did lose my bet though that he would not make 8 games. He'll revert back to being obscure.

Seems he's found his rhythm, and that means Kamara can be used more as a slot receiver with Murray in the backfield. Given the Saints lack of depth at receiver, that is a huge development. Of course, Kamara will still get carries, but he can be used in space a lot more often now. |
Re: T.J. Yeldon
He has played exceptional with Kamara and Brees out. I even drafted him but that was for a handcuff to Kamara which he has turned out to be so far. He's not getting 12 passes and 21 carriers in a game again unless Kamara is out.

That's basically all I was trying to say ... literally. Any-hoots, Atlanta is up next. |
Re: T.J. Yeldon
Maybe things finally turn the corner with Brees back and they both are used. One RB getting hit on over 30 plays though is shaking hands with danger and that has been happening since week 2. We are really lucky we didn't lose one of them for good.
