I thought we cut him?

Any word on Butler? Is it me or are they being a little more tight lipped about everything coming out of camp?
We used to get daily articles on who practiced and who didn’t and a lot more detail about the day. Now all we get is tweets |

I believe its a strong possibility we will keep 6 WRs this year because we seem to have plenty of talent at the position. On the other hand that would limit SP from stockpiling TEs which he loves to do.

Meh ... 9 balls for 97 yards/2 TD's in 14 games for Carr. Gotta have more production, separation and chain moving ability on 3rd downs.
As far as I'm concerned, he's a bubble player in 2019. |

Brees is going to look for Thomas, Kamara and Cook if they're on the field. Everyone else has to be really patient and work even harder to be open when the need arises. Ginn can do it. Smith can do it. Two roster spots are between Carr, Matthews, Kirkwood, and Butler, with long shots Cobbs, Humphrey and Grayson. I see the Saints keeping 5. Kamara, Cook, Hill and T. Hill all can split out and play the role.

It’s so annoying that Carr is a smart guy who does just enough in training camp to earn a roster spot and then does nothing during the season.

I had high hopes for Carr last year.....not so much this year.

I hope they move on from Carr. This is year three and I don’t know how much more growth we will see from him. While he shines in camp, it hasn’t translated to the regular season. With Kirkwood, Butler, and Humphrey competing and younger, I’d rather see what they can do.
