Thank goodness this cancer is gone
This guy could have destroyed the chemistry of this team.

Practice squad makes paychecks too. If you quit the game because you lost passion for it, don't blame it on BS. If the league is so bad, go play in the CFL. Now, if he was talking about Roger Goddell, I would totoally agree with him on fakeness and brainwashing! |

Re: Thank goodness this cancer is gone
In an earlier post I mentioned that if Matthews thought he was going to come here with an I want the ball attitude, he only needed to look at AP for a good example of how that was going to work out. At least Peterson was able to make to the regular season. Then again, Kamara was an unknown quantity at the time.

I wouldn’t call that a cancer. Nothing wrong with bowing out of a job when it’s no longer a good fit. At least he didn’t just hang around for a check. He didn’t bash any teams, just the NFL. Most of what he said is true. I can’t hate on a man for that, sorry.

Not the first person with talent to flame out. Hope he finds his way.

You're getting paid to play a game. Toe the line or GTFU

SP has a sixth sense it seems with detecting players that have issues that are detrimental to the team chemistry.
So it's Sail On Down the Line.. |
Re: Thank goodness this cancer is gone
Definitely looking to trade for a receiver now.

Re: Thank goodness this cancer is gone
We aren’t trading anyone.

I just don't get the idea of trading for what is likely a WR4 or WR5. Care to explain? SFIAH |

I really don’t see us parting with anymore picks. Prob is hell of a backup if Williams does wind up beating him out. |
Re: Thank goodness this cancer is gone
I'm happy with our receivers. I think Tre'Quan has pro-bowl type potential that will start to show up this year. I love Kirkwood. Carr is decent. If Butler is the real deal, we are set.
Going back to Tre'Quan, I know some of the people here aren't completely sold on him.. but I am.. and I'm more important than you. The moment I saw Tre'Quan on the field for the first time, I was sold on him. I think the numbers last year are irrelevant. I think he had a few flaws in his game last year that are easily correctable which are what really held him back last year. For me, he passes the eyeball test. The guy has something special about him, and I think it's going to be on showcase very soon. The guy has some major talent. Most people on here think he is going to be decent-good player. I may be crazy but I think he is all-pro talent. Just go back and watch film on him throughout the year. Insane prediction: We will have the best WR duo in the league either this year or next. |
