Basically it said that if Matt Ryan was any good they would be the team to challenge us. All I've got to say to that is "28-3"!!!

Didn’t watch it, but if they are complaining about Matt Ryan being an issue then they have an absurd opinion. Ryan is what keeps that team competitive year over year, each of the last 2 seasons he has arguably been the best QB in the NFC. The injury bug hit them last year on D. They will be a tough team this year assuming they stay healthy.

S. Smith basically said that the Falcons should be the team to challenge us. But if they don’t,
M. Ryan will be a big part of the reason they fail.

People said the same thing about Brees... big numbers except when it mattered. We shouldn’t be foolish to think the defense giving up a 25 point lead in 20 mins fall all on his shoulders.

Ryan is a good QB, not great, not as good a Brees, but he is good enough to win it all.

The Super Bowl loss doesn't fall all on his shoulders, he played an outstanding game. But when the game was on the line and they needed someone to step up and put the game away, it wasn't Ryan. It's what he does, or should I say what he doesn't do. And it wasn't just the Super Bowl. The Falcons last playoff game against the Eagles, he did a masterful job of driving the Falcons down the field for the game winning touchdown, but in the final seconds, from the red zone, he threw the ball out of bounds 5 consecutive plays to end the game. The "scardy cat" game, the fumble in the 2013 NFC championship game....

Ryan is a great, not good, quarterback but when the pressure's on and the Falcons need someone to step up, it's never him.

I’m sure they will be. Hell of a defense that’s healthy and one of the best receiving corps in the league. They are a hell of a team. That offensive line though is another matter.
